Little Angels of MAN
UAA through out the year focuses on providing funding for education, job skills training, advocacy against violence, micro financing ... and so forth... but at the end of every year we go to orphanages to grant simple Christmas Wishes...the kids ask for simple comforts like a stuffed toy.
We start canvasing early in the year in order to secure the funding and deliver the wishes on time.
We were focusing on orphanages close to the war torn Mali border in the Ivory Coast, but we kinda got thrown a curve ball mid May... when we were invited to a remote western village called MAN where we were introduced to some very special little people at the ‘Children’s Home of Man”
This is an all infant’s orphanage and most of the babies are there because their mothers died in child birth. Not all of these little ones are born healthy and the orphanage bears the costs of their medical treatments.
The home is in much need for medical supplies and equipment along with the basics like baby formula.
Children’s Home of Man” invited UAA to their home in order to get help in bridging the gap between a remote little village with it’s hands full of sweet little souls and you.
