UAA Playground Project
The playground project goes far beyond simple playground construction. Each playground will be located on land secured by UAA and fenced to provide some security and maintained in cooperation with the neighborhood or village.
We are planning the 2013 year to build a playground in Abobo District in Abidjan. This area of the city is especially disadvantaged both due to poverty and due to the lingering effects of country’s civil war. In one especially sad incident a car bombing killed seven children in a market. Stay tuned for updates on this project.
